TOUR OVERVIEW
India’s most renowned tiger park, the 282 km² Ranthambore National Park is one of best locations in the world to sight and photograph these majestic predators in their natural habitat.
Ranthambore was established as the Sawai Madhopur Game Sanctuary in 1955 by the Government of India and was declared as one of the Project Tiger reserves in 1973.
These rich deciduous forests, full of dhonk trees are also home to the Indian leopard, striped hyena, nilgai, wild boar, sambar, spotted deer, grey langur, rhesus macaque and lots of mugger crocodiles.
We will be exploring this amazing park over three full day, dawn to dusk safaris. This will surely allow us to capture the most amazing opportunities of tigers, get to know the park really well and come back home with the most impressive and hard to beat tiger portfolio.
What’s better, The Outback Experience’s Phillip Ross, will guide you into the forests, take you through the fundamentals of wildlife photography and equip you with a good understanding of tiger behaviour that will help you take stunning photographs. Phillip has been travelling to Ranthambore since 2011 and know’s these forests like the back of his hand and will lead you to places where tiger sightings are known to happen.
