BR Hills| BRT Tiger Reserve
BRT Wildlife Photography Tour
Two nights and three days in the BR Hills, with four jeep safaris into BRT Tiger Reserve and expert guidance from wildlife photographer Phillip Ross.
Where the Western and Eastern Ghats meet
The Biligiri Rangaswamy Temple (BRT) Tiger Reserve covers the BR Hills, where the Western and Eastern Ghats meet. It is abundantly rich in flora and fauna and is especially known for its leopard, tiger and sloth bear sightings, apart from 300 species of birds that can be found in the reserve. Asiatic elephants, Indian gaurs, Asiatic wild dogs and various species of deer are seen here too.
We base ourselves at K Gudi Wilderness Camp, run by Jungle Lodges and Resorts and surrounded by jungle inside the reserve, for four jeep safaris.
Wildlife photographer Phillip Ross will guide you through camera settings and animal behaviour across the tour.

Day1
Arrive at the lodge, check in and have lunch. Phillip introduces the group to the wildlife of BR Hills and presents ideal camera settings for the first safari, before we head out on the afternoon safari.
Later that evening, we meet for a presentation on composition and discuss the safari and animal behaviour, before a delicious dinner.
Day2
We awake to the calls of the forest and, after coffee or tea, depart for the morning safari. We return for breakfast and a rest.
Just before lunch, we discuss exposure compensation and focusing before the afternoon safari. On our return at dusk, a photography learning session with one-on-one image review precedes a celebratory dinner.
