The Kanha Tiger Reserve is arguably one of the best locations in the world to photograph wildlife in the winter season, and is also home to the endangered hard-ground barasingha. Its sal forests hold Bengal tigers, Indian leopards, jackals, jungle cats, wild boar, sambar and spotted deer, primates, and birdlife including vultures, storks, hornbills, bee-eaters and flycatchers.
The Winter Light Atelier is a photography workshop with Canon Maestro Phillip Ross - who has been visiting Kanha since 2010 - at Outpost 12, Kanha National Park, in collaboration with Outpost 12, Canon and Sinali Experiences.

100% payment in advance for confirmation of booking.
Payment can be made via bank transfer to our account. Please inform us of the reference number once the payment is made.
Cancellation Fees
- A 50% cancellation fee will be charged if the reservation is cancelled 45 days or less before the arrival date.
- A 100% cancellation fee applies if the reservation is cancelled 30 days or less before the arrival date.

Who is this tour for?
Anybody above the age of 18 with a passion to learn and master photography. There are no other eligibility criteria.
What are the requisites for the tour?
Bringing your own camera is strongly recommended. This camera should ideally be a Mirrorless or Digital SLR (DSLR) and lens with a focal length of at least 300mm to make the most out of the photography tour. In case you do not have the recommended equipment, please contact us and we will help you hire a camera or lens.
