Wayanad| Western Ghats
The Secrets of Wayanad
Two nights and three days at Wayanad Wild, on the fringe of the Western Ghats, photographing endemic amphibians and reptiles with wildlife photographer Phillip Ross.
It’s another level out here
Wayanad, the emerald paradise nestled among the mountains of the Western Ghats, is a high-altitude, high-rainfall biodiversity hotspot with an amazing diversity of amphibians and a high chance of encountering reptiles. We stay at Wayanad Wild (CGH Earth), a resort on the protected forest fringe amid tea estates.
The forest here holds amphibians, reptiles, over 300 bird species, endemic mammals and nocturnal fauna.
Phillip Ross leads the rainforest guidance and photography instruction across the tour.
