Elephants under Kilimanjaro, and the Mara’s Big Five

Amboseli National Park is most famous for being the best place in the world to get close to wild African elephants, set against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. The Maasai Mara National Reserve, easily the world’s most famous wildlife reserve, spans 1,510 km² and is perhaps most famous for its abundance of Africa’s “Big Five”, especially lions, alongside 450+ bird species.

We travel in 4WD Toyota Land Cruisers with large windows and an opening thatched roof for a 360° view, with only 3 participants per vehicle for individualised attention.

Guide Phillip provides photography instruction and image reviews throughout, alongside superb natural-history learning.
